Syria Electricity Emergency Project (SEEP)
Rehabilitation of damaged transmission lines and transformer substations with institutional support, approved in June 2025 and implementing through 2026. It is the first World Bank project in Syria in roughly forty years, and new solar plants are being tied into the 230 kV and 400 kV networks through it.

Damascus International Airport — redevelopment and expansion
Final build-operate-transfer concession contracts were signed on 24 November 2025 and are described as the largest single investment in Syria's history. Works have started on Terminal 2, the rehabilitation of the old airport hotel, and the main access road.

M5 Corridor Highway Rehabilitation Programme
Maintenance works on the Damascus–Aleppo corridor commenced on 23 April 2026, a corridor assessment was launched on 13 June 2026, and seven tenders for the full rehabilitation plus separate international supervision tenders were launched on 14 July 2026. The M5 links the Turkish border in the north to the Jordanian border in the south.
